Surface Chemistry and ICT-based Media in Chemistry Learning
The Surface Chemistry. The researches that we have been conducting are related to the use of clay minerals as sorbents for the healthy environment purposes. The researches also studied kinetics of binding and release of the chemicals by clay minerals sorbents, investigated the factors affecting the binding and release, as well as the reaction mechanisms in the binding process. The application of the study results for better environment has also been the concerns.
The ICT-based Media in Chemistry Learning. The researches on Chemistry education has also been our projects in the last three years. The reaseaches deal with the development of the ICT-based media for enrichment materials and independent learning resources, and the ICT-based delivery system in Chemistry learning. The Media that have been developed are mobile based learning media, web-based media, animation-based media, computer-based media, and ICT-based 3-Dimentional media. The delivery systems in chemistry learning are studied to develop innovative learning model on Chemistry, in which the ICT-based media that have been developed were used. The innovative learning models that have been developed and implemented in the last three years are ICT-based and web-based hybrid learning/ blended learning on Chemistry.
